We also know that your ability to influence our youth as a positive role model is significant and valuable. We believe this conversation is more important than ever in light of the recent incidents related to underage drinking and other risky behaviors by teens and young adults in our community.
The Durham Middlefield Local Wellness Council has joined Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services (DMYFS) to sponsor a Community Conversation themed “..and how are the children?” The conversation is specifically designed to bring our community together to support our youth, increase awareness of underage drinking and substance use, and mobilize all to take action on behalf of our youth."
